Objectives
By the end of the lesson, the student should be able to;

- Identify the various parts of the bony pelvis
- State the landmarks on the various parts
- Outline the supporting joints and ligaments
- Identify the divisions on the pelvis.
- Explain pelvic plane, pelvic inclination and axis.
- Identify the measurement taken on the pelvis
Situation
- Articulates with the 5th lumber vertebra above
- Laterally with the heads of right and left femur at the corresponding acetabulum.
