- Demonstrate understanding in principles of first aid
- Outline at least 4 qualities of a first aider
Definition
- The immediate and temporary treatment/care given to the victim of an accident or any sudden illness before the medical help (aid) available.
- The skill application of accepted principles of treatment on the occurrence of an accident or in the case of sudden illness using facilities or materials available at the time.
